Assistant Professor of Nursing at Creighton University. I obtained my RN from College of Saint Mary in Omaha and my MSN from UNMC with an emphasis in Gerontology. I continued my academic endeavor achieving a Master's in Christian Spirituality from Creighton and a PhD from UNL in Gerontology. Not too bad considering I started all of this after the age of 35!

I am also one of the co-founders of the Healing Gift Free Clinic...which provides free health care to the un/under-insured in the Omaha area. We are an ALL volunteer clinic which runs strictly off of donations...we are currently in our 6th year. Additionally, I teach Tai Chi to a group of elderly for balance improvement on Saturday mornings...

Guess I should mention, I have been married for 36 years and have two sons and two dogs!
